RemotePass lists Employer of Record from $349 per employee a month with tax included, Contractor of Record from $299 per contractor a month, a Contractors plan at $39 per contractor a month on annual billing, Local Payroll on your own entity from $15 and visa sponsorship from $549. For Contractor of Record it is the contracting party. It claims EOR in 150+ countries; we document 9 countries.

Verdict

Best for

  • Enterprise teams and small and growing businesses (SMEs), in RemotePass's own words
  • Companies hiring in the Middle East and Africa: 2 of the EOR countries we document are there (Saudi Arabia and the UAE)
  • Contractor of Record buyers: both case studies we cite (Alts Digital and Valmont) used it, and the plan cards list it from $299 a month
  • Teams that want to try the Contractors plan first: it has self-serve sign-up and a free trial
  • Employers that need visa sponsorship next to EOR, listed from $549 a month

Not for

  • Buyers who must review EOR contract terms up front: no EOR agreement is public
  • Teams that need support hours in writing: the plan cards say "7/7" and the homepage "24/7 Availability", and neither says who answers or when
  • Buyers who want EOR through RemotePass's own entities: company registers show 1 (Singapore), and the Terms allow third-party partners as employer of record
Stands out
Price and tooling. The $349 EOR price sits under 13 of 20 other EOR fees quoted in dollars here, Local Payroll starts at $15, and the platform offers a public REST API with webhooks, 50+ integrations and contractor withdrawals by bank, Payoneer, PayPal, card or USDT and USDC.
Biggest limit
Legal disclosure. RemotePass publishes its Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and Acceptable Use Policy, but not the EOR Consultant Agreement the Terms point to, and the Terms let third-party partners act as employer of record. Its own entities: 1 on company registers (Singapore).

Pricing

Setup fees and what each list price includes, by service. The EOR fee for a team follows under Cost at volume.

RemotePass: pricing by service
ServiceSetup feeNotes
Employer of Record—Includes tax. The EOR page says employees can be onboarded in less than two weeks. The help centre lists countries where RemotePass cannot hire EOR employees; Burundi is on that list, although the country guides include a Burundi page, so Burundi is not counted. The guides for Cameroon, Mexico, Nigeria, Peru, Romania, Serbia, South Africa, Sweden and Turkey carry only the generic EOR card that also sits on the Burundi guide, with nothing specific to EOR there, so those countries count as claims. The guides for Belgium, Denmark, the Dominican Republic, Egypt, Greece, Ireland, Jordan, Lithuania, Malaysia, Morocco, North Macedonia, the Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Spain, Switzerland and the US add only a termination-table row, 'Redundancy: Not possible under the EOR setup', which reads the same on 41 guides; that row is template too, so those countries count as claims as well. The guides for Angola, Bahrain, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Croatia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Kenya, Lebanon, Montenegro, the Netherlands, Pakistan, Taiwan and Vietnam carry that card plus the same redundancy row or a generic FAQ ('Not if you use an Employer of Record like RemotePass', 'Redundancy (not possible under the EOR setup)'), so they are claims too. Documented EOR pages keep a country-specific EOR rule or page: Finland, Germany, Italy, Norway, Saudi Arabia, South Korea and the UAE.[1][2][3]
Contractor of Record—$299 for each contractor monthly on the pricing page's plan cards and in its plan comparison table. The page's 'Additional Services' block shows Contractor of Record with 'Get A Quote' instead.[1][4]
Contractor payouts—Same Contractors plan as contractor management.[1]
Contractor management—Contractors plan, billed annually.[1]
Global payroll—Local Payroll, on your own entity.[1]
Immigration and visas—Visa sponsorship.[1]

Pros and cons

Pros

  • EOR from $349 per employee a month with tax included; 13 of 20 other EOR prices in dollars start higher
  • Local Payroll on your own entity from $15 per employee a month, below 5 of the 6 other global payroll prices we compare
  • Public REST API with webhooks, and 50+ integrations including QuickBooks, Xero and Slack
  • Contractors withdraw by bank transfer, Payoneer, PayPal, Instant Card Payout, the RemotePass Debit Card or USDT and USDC (1.5% fee)
  • Self-serve sign-up with a free trial for the Contractors plan
  • A dedicated Customer Success Manager you call directly, with a stated response target under four hours; the enterprise page says every enterprise client gets one, other pages name no plan
  • The EOR page says new employees can be onboarded in under two weeks
  • Its help centre says it holds SOC 2 Type II, with policies audited each year by an independent auditor; its legal-teams page adds ISO 27001

Cons

  • No EOR agreement is public: the Terms say EOR runs under a separate Consultant Agreement "available on the Site", which we did not find. The public legal documents are the Terms, the Privacy Policy and the Acceptable Use Policy
  • The Terms let third-party partners act as employer of record. Own entities: 1 on company registers (RemotePass Pte. Ltd., Singapore). RemotePass Ltd is on the UK register and the Terms name RemotePass Inc. under Delaware law, but no source says which entity signs EOR contracts
  • RemotePass claims EOR in 150+ countries; we document 9 countries. Its guides for 43 more countries, Mexico, Nigeria and Spain among them, carry only template EOR content (the same EOR card, a generic FAQ or the same redundancy row), so we count them as claims
  • Contractor of Record is $299 a month on the plan cards but "Get A Quote" in the pricing page's Additional Services block
  • No EOR setup fee, termination fee, minimum term or deposit amount is published
  • Support hours are not stated: the plan cards say "7/7" support and the homepage "24/7 Availability", and neither says who answers round the clock
  • The Contractors plan at $39 a month, billed annually, is above 10 of the 16 other US-dollar contractor-management prices we compare, and 1 more is also $39

Questions people ask

Which services does RemotePass offer?

Guides for 43 more countries carry only template EOR content (the same EOR card, a generic FAQ or the same redundancy row), and its help centre lists Burundi among countries where it cannot hire EOR employees, so we count none of those.

How are contractors paid through RemotePass?

Contractors withdraw by bank transfer, Payoneer (USD only), PayPal, Instant Card Payout, the RemotePass Debit Card, or Digital Currency Transfer in USDT or USDC at a 1.5% fee. Clients fund payments by SWIFT wire ($5 flat), ACH, SEPA, Wise, Mercury or card (3.9% fee), per its help centre.

The enterprise page gives every enterprise client a CSM with a stated response target under four hours; the plan cards list "7/7 Customer support".

Which security certifications does RemotePass hold?
