Short answer
Stay with RemotePass if you are
Enterprise teams and small and growing businesses (SMEs), in RemotePass's own words
Companies hiring in the Middle East and Africa: 2 of the EOR countries we document are there (Saudi Arabia and the UAE)
Contractor of Record buyers: both case studies we cite (Alts Digital and Valmont) used it, and the plan cards list it from $299 a month
Teams that want to try the Contractors plan first: it has self-serve sign-up and a free trial
Employers that need visa sponsorship next to EOR, listed from $549 a month
Look at alternatives if you are
Buyers who must review EOR contract terms up front: no EOR agreement is public
Teams that need support hours in writing: the plan cards say "7/7" and the homepage "24/7 Availability", and neither says who answers or when
Buyers who want EOR through RemotePass's own entities: company registers show 1 (Singapore), and the Terms allow third-party partners as employer of record

What our data points to
Limits in our data on RemotePass, from its own pages and the facts we checked. This is a summary, not the reasons any one customer gave.
No EOR agreement is public: the Terms say EOR runs under a separate Consultant Agreement "available on the Site", which we did not find. The public legal documents are the Terms, the Privacy Policy and the Acceptable Use Policy
The Terms let third-party partners act as employer of record. Own entities: 1 on company registers (RemotePass Pte. Ltd., Singapore). RemotePass Ltd is on the UK register and the Terms name RemotePass Inc. under Delaware law, but no source says which entity signs EOR contracts
RemotePass claims EOR in 150+ countries; we document 9 countries. Its guides for 43 more countries, Mexico, Nigeria and Spain among them, carry only template EOR content (the same EOR card, a generic FAQ or the same redundancy row), so we count them as claims
Contractor of Record is $299 a month on the plan cards but "Get A Quote" in the pricing page's Additional Services block
No EOR setup fee, termination fee, minimum term or deposit amount is published
Support hours are not stated: the plan cards say "7/7" support and the homepage "24/7 Availability", and neither says who answers round the clock
The Contractors plan at $39 a month, billed annually, is above 10 of the 16 other US-dollar contractor-management prices we compare, and 1 more is also $39

Each row is set against RemotePass. Prices are compared only where both publish a “from” price on the same terms, and countries only where both pages show a documented count.
Order: our EOR score, highest first; equal scores go by name. Review-platform ratings do not change it; a row notes where a provider is rated higher than RemotePass on a platform with at least 50 reviews for each. How we score

What to check with RemotePass and with the new provider. Your agreement with each one sets the details.
Notice period and contract term. Check how much notice your agreement asks for, whether a minimum term or a renewal date applies, and what leaving early costs.
Data export. Ask for an export of your records, documents, payslips and invoices before the account closes, and in which format it comes.
Moving employees. A new EOR employs your people under new employment contracts; check whether each employee’s agreement is needed, as rules vary by country. Agree start dates and how pay, benefits and leave carry over, so there is no gap.
Deposits. If you paid a deposit, check when and how it comes back, and what may be deducted from it first.
Questions people ask
What are the alternatives to RemotePass?
We list 24 other EOR providers. In our order the first three are Pebl, Remote and Deel. The table on this page sets the first 10 against RemotePass on list price, documented countries and our EOR score.
How is the order worked out?
By our EOR score, highest first; equal scores go by name. Review-platform ratings are not part of our score and do not change the order. Where a provider is rated higher than RemotePass on a platform with at least 50 reviews for each, its row and card say so.
Which alternatives list a lower EOR price than RemotePass?
7 of them list a lower “from” price than RemotePass’s US$349 per employee a month, among providers that publish one on the same terms. The lowest is Native Teams at US$99. These are list prices: setup fees, deposits and volume discounts are not included.
What should I check before switching from RemotePass?
The notice period and contract term, a full data export, new employment contracts and whether each employee’s agreement is needed (rules vary by country), and how any deposit comes back. The checklist on this page goes through each one.
