What reviewers and our data point to
Limits in our data on Atlas HXM and themes that recur in its reviews. This is a summary, not the reasons any one customer gave.
At $599 per employee monthly, the EOR price is above 15 of the 20 other USD EOR prices we compare and equal to 4; local employer services, FX and benefits premiums are billed on top
No EOR client agreement is published, and no EOR terms for setup or termination fees, deposit or minimum term
Atlas claims wholly owned entities in 160+ countries. We show 1 on company registers (the UK) and 7 more stated by the provider on its own pages
ISO 27001, 27017 and 27018 are claimed on the homepage; no certificate, issuer or scope is published
No API, integration count or contractor payout methods are published, and EOR starts with a demo booking rather than a sign-up; AOR payments are held and moved by a licensed third-party processor
Support is described by role, with no chat, email or phone channel named and no stated response target
The pricing page is inconsistent on AOR: its FAQ puts the Classification Protection cap at $100,000 per contractor per month, while its own disclaimer and the AOR terms give $100,000 per contractor with no monthly basis. It says to cancel before the next billing date; the AOR terms ask for 30 days' written notice
Trustpilot shows a TrustScore of 2.9, as its own weighting computes it, from two 1-star reviews. Both centre on wage payments and compliance; two reviews are too few to generalise from. (Trustpilot)

Each row is set against Atlas HXM. Prices are compared only where both publish a “from” price on the same terms, and countries only where both pages show a documented count.
Order: our EOR score, highest first; equal scores go by name. Review-platform ratings do not change it; a row notes where a provider is rated higher than Atlas HXM on a platform with at least 50 reviews for each. How we score

What to check with Atlas HXM and with the new provider. Your agreement with each one sets the details.
Notice period and contract term. Check how much notice your agreement asks for, whether a minimum term or a renewal date applies, and what leaving early costs.
Data export. Ask for an export of your records, documents, payslips and invoices before the account closes, and in which format it comes.
Moving employees. A new EOR employs your people under new employment contracts; check whether each employee’s agreement is needed, as rules vary by country. Agree start dates and how pay, benefits and leave carry over, so there is no gap.
Deposits. If you paid a deposit, check when and how it comes back, and what may be deducted from it first.
Questions people ask

How is the order worked out?
