What our data points to
Limits in our data on Kleos, from its own pages and the facts we checked. This is a summary, not the reasons any one customer gave.
Only the general website and platform terms are public; the client agreement is signed through DocuSign after registration
200+ countries claimed for EOR and COR, with no country list and no named countries where Kleos uses its own entities
The trust centre lists ISO 27001:2022, but the certificate and auditor are shown only on request; no SOC 2 is recorded
No API or software integrations published
No support hours or response target stated; contractor services list email as the only channel
Deposit described two ways: 'no surprise deposit' on the pricing page, 'refundable in full' on the EOR page, with no amount given
Contractors can withdraw no less than 100 USD or EUR at a time, and only to bank accounts and cards in their own name

Each row is set against Kleos. Prices are compared only where both publish a “from” price on the same terms, and countries only where both pages show a documented count.
Order: our EOR score, highest first; equal scores go by name. Review-platform ratings do not change it; a row notes where a provider is rated higher than Kleos on a platform with at least 50 reviews for each. How we score

What to check with Kleos and with the new provider. Your agreement with each one sets the details.
Notice period and contract term. Check how much notice your agreement asks for, whether a minimum term or a renewal date applies, and what leaving early costs.
Data export. Ask for an export of your records, documents, payslips and invoices before the account closes, and in which format it comes.
Moving employees. A new EOR employs your people under new employment contracts; check whether each employee’s agreement is needed, as rules vary by country. Agree start dates and how pay, benefits and leave carry over, so there is no gap.
Deposits. If you paid a deposit, check when and how it comes back, and what may be deducted from it first.

We list 24 other EOR providers. In our order the first three are Pebl, Remote and Deel. The table on this page sets the first 10 against Kleos on list price, documented countries and our EOR score.
How is the order worked out?
By our EOR score, highest first; equal scores go by name. Review-platform ratings are not part of our score and do not change the order. Where a provider is rated higher than Kleos on a platform with at least 50 reviews for each, its row and card say so.
Which alternatives list a lower EOR price than Kleos?
5 of them list a lower “from” price than Kleos’s US$200 per employee a month, among providers that publish one on the same terms. The lowest is Native Teams at US$99. These are list prices: setup fees, deposits and volume discounts are not included.
What should I check before switching from Kleos?
The notice period and contract term, a full data export, new employment contracts and whether each employee’s agreement is needed (rules vary by country), and how any deposit comes back. The checklist on this page goes through each one.
